LuxAlgo begins as a small team of developers and traders publishing open technical analysis tools, built for the charting platforms traders already lived on.
2023

Hundreds of tools published, dozens of publisher awards, and a following of millions of traders across the open charting community.
2024
The Backtesting Assistant.
We launch our backtesting platform, built to advance what honest, bias-free strategy testing could be. The same year, our team is recognized in TradingView®’s Pine Script® Wizards program for our open-source community scripts.
2026
Quant.
We launch Quant, our coding agent: it reads the chart, writes and repairs indicator and strategy code, and proves it against history.

PineTS.
We acquire PineTS, bringing Pine Script® execution outside TradingView®, now at thousands of installs weekly across the open-source developer community.

QuantCharts.
We launch QuantCharts, state-of-the-art charting engineered in-house on Vela™, our open-source charting engine, with the full Orderflow suite built from real trades and every LuxAlgo tool built in.

Founded in Boston in 2020 and headquartered there today. We started as a small group of developers and traders publishing open technical analysis tools, and grew into a full charting platform. We are a lean team of 10+, mostly engineers and traders, who use what we build.

Entrepreneur from Boston, MA since deciding not to pursue college in 2017. Sean grew a passion for startups, investing, Bitcoin, & technical analysis which led to creating various technical tools for traders and the launch of LuxAlgo, which he has led since 2020.
